FREE Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT) Diagnostic for Your Student
Saturday, April 15, 2017
San Elijo Middle School Library
Dear SEMS Families,
ACE Tutoring, in conjunction with San Elijo Middle School, continues their 10+ year tradition of offering to a limited number of 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to take a mock PSAT test (free of charge) at SEMS on Saturday, April 15, 2015.
While most students take the PSAT in 9th or 10th grade, this is an exciting opportunity to get a glimpse of where your child stands today in regards to this particular assessment. After your child takes the MOCK PSAT, representatives will offer to meet with parents to review the student’s results and discuss strategies for improving basic academic skills. Once the testing begins, parents are encouraged to stay and hear a brief twenty-minute presentation about their child’s “road to college” and the SAT/ACT testing process.
A continental breakfast of bagels, cream cheese, water and juice will be provided, so please be on time. All scores will be the property of the students, SEMS, and ACE Tutoring.
Please register online at acetutoring.com OR fill out the registration form we will provide and have your student return it to the Assistant Principals’ office in care of Patricia Kurylo (Assistant Principal).
- 8:30 AM Continental Breakfast and Sign-IN
- 9:00 AM PSAT Test for Students and Short Presentation for Parents
- 12:00 NOON Parents return SEMS to pick up their child
Students must bring a calculator (any calculator with standard functions) and TWO sharpened pencils.

We look forward to seeing you and your student on Saturday, April 15, 2017 @ 8:30 AM outside of the SEMS Library.
